Yellow Tempo™ Geum, Geum Yellow Tempo™, or Yellow Tempo™ Avens is a dependable, long-blooming perennial with 1-inch, roselike, semi-double, lemon-yellow blooms that burst forth from pink buds, beginning in spring and lasting until late summer. Perched atop wiry dark-purple stems that grow to a height of 14 to 20 inches, the luscious flowers of this striking Geum will keep your cottage garden sunny for the entire season. The Yellow Tempo™ is semi-evergreen, and the leaves are divided into many wispy leaflets, forming an elegant, green mound at the base of the plant that has a spread from 14 to 24 inches. Yellow Tempo™ Geum, bred by Terra Nova Nurseries, has a vigorous, mounding growth habit and has flirty, ruffled blooms and strawberry-like foliage. Yellow Tempo™ Geum Care Yellow Tempo™ Geum should be planted in full to partial sun or dappled shade. In warmer climates, some shade may be necessary to preserve your Geum. Yellow Tempo™ prefers moist, loamy soil that is well-drained. Soil that is too wet can be fatal to the plant. Geum should receive regular watering.
