With its shocking white-to-blush-pink skin speckled in red seeds, the Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry is a unique take on a summer fruit classic. Delicious with wonderful pineapple overtones, this strawberry plant is everbearing, producing fruits in the spring and summer through the fall. The Wonderful Pineberry™ is self-pollinating and grows to be about 8 to 12 inches tall and 10 to 18 inches wide, working well in a garden bed as well as in a container. Hardy in zones 4-8, this strawberry plant will return each year, producing dozens if not hundreds of fruits. rWonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry Plant Care  rThe Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry is an easy-to-care-for fruit that does not require much maintenance. This plant grows as a groundcover, sending out runners that can be easily contained or even replanted. These fruits are able to be enjoyed fresh off the vine or preserved in jams or jellies. The Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry will produce heavily in the spring and fall, slowing down just slightly in the summer when temperatures are high. Always be sure to provide strawberry plants with regular water to keep them producing the juiciest fruit possible. rGrowing Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry Plant rPlant the Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry in a spot where it can get at least 6 to 8 hours of sunlight for high yields. For best results, plant the Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry in sandy, loamy, neutral, well-draining soil. Strawberries are safe to plant in the spring once temperatures begin to rise, just before the average last frost date. rPlant the Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry at least 12 inches away from other plants to allow for full growth. To avoid damage from slugs, strawberry plants often benefit from being planted in terra cotta strawberry pots where their fruits are free to dangle over the sides. Always choose a container that has drainage holes. rWatering Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry Plant rWater the Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry regularly, especially in hotter and drier regions. Signs that the plant is overwatered include yellowing, drooping leaves, while underwatering signs include leaves that become dry and brown.rFeeding Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry Plant rFeed the Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry in the spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Apply fertilizer again in August to aid in continuous fruit production. rWonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry Plant InformationrrrrUSDA Hardiness Zones: 4 – 8rrrPlant Type: Edible PlantsrrrLight Exposure: Full Sun (At Least 6 Hours Of Direct Sunlight)rrrMature Height: 8 – 12 InchesrrrMature Spread: 10 – 18 InchesrrrSpacing: 10 – 18 InchesrrrHabit: Mounded, TrailingrrrFlower Color(s): WhiterrrFlower Description: rrrBloom Period: rrrFoliage Type: HerbaceousrrrFoliage Color(s): GreenrrrFoliage Description: rrrSeasonal Interest: N/ArrrWatering: AveragerrrResists: N/ArrrTolerates: N/ArrrAttracts: BirdsrrrContainer Role: rrrUses: Borders, Containers, Groundcovers, Mass PlantingrrrFeatures: Attracts Pollinators, Low MaintenancerrrBrand: Goodness GrowsrrrCommon Name: Wonderful Pineberry™ Strawberry PlantrrrOther Name(s): Wonderful Pineberry™ StrawberryrrrScientific Name: Strawberry ‘Wonderful Pineberry’
