Adonis amurensis ‘Hanazono’ is a very rare sport of Adonis amurensis ‘Sandanzaki’. The bright yellow, green-centered, fully double flowers of Adonis ‘Hanazono’ first appear for us in mid-January sans foliage. As they continue to emerge, the lacy cutleaf green foliage emerges as a nice foil. Adonis amurensis goes dormant by late spring, so mark it with a label. Our quantities of this offering are extremely limited.
